Last fall I brought some portulaca inside to see how it would winter over. The small plant hasn’t grown, but it seems happy enough soaking up whatever sun it gets in the window. Every week or two lately, it produces a single tiny but colorful flower.
It’s difficult to turn from the news of the day and find the right perspective for a post. If there are fitting words, I don’t have them.

Simple and sweet flower! Wishing you a lovely weekend! 🙂

The flowers are very small…maybe 1/2 inch in diameter. Still, when one shows up, it’s a welcome sight. Thanks.
