feb 4 – a flower for your friday

~ a flower for your friday ~

I brought this primrose home from the store last week. It is small and was inexpensive, but it’s a welcome spot of color on a winter day. Have a good weekend.

This camellia was part of an arrangement I found in a shop some time ago.
Have a good weekend.

I took this picture last week at the Safeway.
These cold winter months don’t feature
much in the way of outdoor flowering.
Enjoy your weekend.

How many times yesterday did I hear, “It’s December 1st?” Yes, December. Happy Hanukkah, and best wishes to all as we move into the holiday season.

(Some photos I’ve had for awhile.)

nov 12 – a flower for your friday

I go to the hydrangea too often, I suppose.
But some dear soul planted this one at the edge of the woods.
And well, I’m not gonna pass that one up.

Pausing this Thursday in November to remember and honor our veterans, and to recognize what they sacrificed to give us the freedoms we have today.

One confused forsythia. I spotted this single yellow flower a few days ago. It happens.
Have a great weekend.

Welcome

Some of the best things in life are what we find outside, in nature. Most of what I post here at Clover and Ivy are nature photos. Trees, flowers, foliage, etc.

Welcome, and thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.
