
The pachysandra isn’t a showy plant, but these buds will produce small fragrant white flowers in the spring. And for now, they produce something that resembles a flower. I have more of these plants than I should, but they serve the practical purpose of preventing soil erosion.

They give fragrance and prevent soil erosion. That is beautiful.

They make a lovely fragrance along a walkway when they bloom, and yes, they hold the soil together when there’s a heavy rain. Also, they keep their green through the dead of winter, which is a plus, I think. Thanks for your comment.
